This is the first bitters I found. This is the well known and famous Dr. J. Hosteter's Bitters from civil war times.
Many Union troops in Natchez probably drank this stuff before going to bed, and they woke up with a headaches as it contained mostly alchohol!

Below is a cabin bitters. Called St Drake's 1880 Plantation Bitters. The bottle was pattened in 1862.
This one is a "6 log" version and os medium amber and in mint condition.
